Uralkali Reduces Potash Production Target for 2012

Bloomberg reported that Uralkali (LSE:URKA) lowered its output target for next year in an attempt to maintain market prices.

As quoted in the market news:

The company reduced its forecast to 10.5 million to 11 million metric tons from a previous estimate of as much as 11.8 million tons, Chief Executive Officer Vladislav Baumgertner said today in a television interview with Bloomberg’s Caroline Hyde.
