Talks Resume on Privatization of Belaruskali

Mining Weekly reported that the Indian government has renewed talks of acquiring a stake in potash producer Belaruskali.

As quoted in the market news:

The Indian government has proposed the creation of a sovereign fund of about $5-billion to support State-owned fertiliser producers and to acquire fertiliser mineral assets overseas.
