Rio Verde Minerals Corp. announced the completion of $10.8 million in financing.

The press release is quoted as saying:

This Financing is in addition to the CAD$10 million raised in a private equity placement in December 2010, for a total of CAD$20.8 million raised by Rio Verde since inception.
