PotashCorp Walks Away from ICL Takeover

The Globe and Mail reported that PotashCorp  has elected to abandon its six-month long quest to for Israel’s ICL, amid growing political pressure from the Israeli government.

As quoted in the Globe and Mail report:

Israeli officials including finance minister Yair Lapid opposed a deal with Potash Corp. because it would put a key state asset into the hands of the already massive Canadian fertilizer company.
