Potash West Completes Drilling Program at Dandaragan Trough

Potash West NL (ASX:PWN) completed the drilling program at its Dandaragan Trough Project in Australia. Resource extensions add 16 squared kilometers to the Dinner Hill Resource area, phosphate mineralization was confirmed at Attunga and Dambadjie prospects, and exploration drilling identifies further shallow potash and phosphate targets.

 Potash West NL (ASX:PWN) completed the drilling program at its Dandaragan Trough Project in Australia. Resource extensions added 16 squared kilometers to the Dinner Hill Resource area, and phosphate mineralization was confirmed at Attunga and Dambadjie prospects.

As quoted in the press release:

The 94 hole, 4,634m aircore drilling program has:

  • Demonstrated continuity of the Dinner Hill MineralResource through additional drilling to the south and east of the deposit;
  • JORC compliant resource for Dinner Hill Extended area expected by Q3 2013;
  • Confirmed significant phosphate intercepts reported from historical exploration at the Dambadjie and Attunga prospects;
  • Intersected the thickest sequences of the target Molecap Greensand yet recorded within the project area; and
  • Encountered near surface glauconite mineralisation in other areas worthy of further investigation.

The new drilling of 44 holes on 800m metre centres has demonstrated continuity of this unit 4km to the east and 5.5km to the south over an area of
some 16km2, increasing the area by 160%. Mineralisation remains open in both directions.
