MSN India reported that India’s government is assured that potash supply to the country will improve on a long-term supply deal.

The market news is quoted as saying:

India could not import MoP earlier because major global suppliers like Canpotex refused to sell the farm nutrient at the lower price of USD 470 a tonne, as settled with China. The deadlock, however, ended when India agreed to buy the MoP at USD 530 a tonne, at least during the fourth quarter this fiscal.
