Potash Ridge Corporation (TSX:PRK,OTCQX:POTRF) reported that Beaver County has been granted a federal right-of-way to improve an existing County road which provides access to several parcels of development land including Potash Ridge’s Project.

As quoted in the press release:

Beaver County announced on July 16 that its application for a federal right-of-way to improve an existing County road has been granted. This existing County road provides access to several parcels of development land owned by the State of Utah’s School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (“SITLA”), including Potash Ridge’s Project. Beaver County applied for the right-of-way on the basis that improvement of the road will enhance economic development in the County and adjacent regions such as alternative energy development initiatives and mineral development.

Potash Ridge President and CEO Guy Bentinck said:

I would like to congratulate Beaver County on securing the right-of-way, which I am confident will provide numerous economic development opportunities in the area. This event also represents a major milestone for Potash Ridge, which will now have access required for the development of its Project.
