The market news is quoted as saying:

India is the world’s second-biggest buyer of potash in the world and fulfils its entire requirement through imports. Global demand is about 50 million tonnes and India buys 5-5.5 million tonnes annually, mainly from Russia, Ukraine and Canada .

The US DOE has extensive supplies of uranium, which it holds off the market in order to avoid driving prices down even further than they already are. The U3O8 investment story about future supply shortages may play out, but I doubt it.
