Positive Outlook for Agrium’s Potash Mine

CBC reported that the expansion of Agrium Inc.’s (NYSE:AGU) Saskatchewan potash mine was approved.

As quoted in the market news:

The Calgary-based company said Wednesday the one-million-tonne expansion at Vanscoy will raise capacity by 50 per cent at a cost of about $1.5 billion. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2012 and wrap up two years later.
