Path Clear for Potash Corp. Takeover of Israeli Fertilizer Giant?

Financial Post reported that Potash Corp. (NYSE:POT) may be considering an acquisition of Israel Chemicals (TLV:ICL).

The market news is quoted as saying:

Ben Isaacson, an analyst with Scotia Capital, said in a note Tuesday the Canadian fertilizer giant might have its eye on Israel Chemicals Ltd., in which it already has a 14% stake worth about $2-billion but no board representation.
