As quoted in the press release:
The plant is now manufacturing 3 tonnes of product per 24 hour period. The Corporation intends to expand production to 36 tonnes/day with additional investment in plant capacity.
OPC’s President, CEO and Chairwoman, Heather Wellner , said:
We are extremely pleased to have our K2 mini plant achieve this turning point in the life of the Corporation. We are now able to enter into agreements for the sale of our 99%+ organic pure potassium carbonate. It is our intention to raise sufficient monies as quickly as possible to allow us to upgrade the plant to 36 tonnes/day of production.
