North American Potash Inc. (TSXV:NPD,OTCQX:RNGTF,FWB:3OZ) announced complete assay results from the Utah-based Lisbon Valley Potash Project.
As quoted in the press release:
The drill program intersected and cored two distinct potash beds: bed 6 (K-6) from 2656 feet to 2675 feet (19ft) and bed 9 (K-9) from 3398.2-3412.2 (24ft). K-9 had the greater average potash concentration.
North American Potash’s President, Simon Tam said:
We knew that we had the potential for a very large system here, based on our project being in what has been defined as a KPLA (Known Potash Leasing Area) these results strongly suggest that the Project area is a viable exploration target for potash solution mining.
