NDP Pitches Potash Savings Fund

The Edmonton Journal reported that Saskatchewan’s provincial NDP are calling for a fund to be created from a portion of the province’s potash profits.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The fund, which would take some portion of non-renewable resource royalties each year, would be managed by an independent board and couldn’t be used to balance the books.
