Mesa Uranium Corp. (CVE:MSA) reports that it has changed its name to Mesa Exploration Corp. effective March 30, 2011.
The press release is quoted as saying:
The name change has been accepted by the TSX Venture Exchange and approved by Mesa’s board of directors.
Mesa Uranium’s President and CEO, Foster Wilson says:
“The decision to change the name reflects a shift in focus from uranium into a more diversified exploration and development company. In addition to excellent uranium projects we’ve acquired lithium and potash assets so a name change is appropriate.”
