Intrepid Potash Inc (IPI.N) reported that it is working to resume full staffing and production at its Carlsbad, New Mexico facility, it said in a regulatory filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The press release is quoted as saying:

In Dec 2009, Intrepid experienced a substantial production disruption at its Carlsbad, East surface facility as a result of sub-freezing temperatures in the region. As a result, Intrepid estimated that potash production at the facility would be limited to about 2,000 tons of saleable product in December, a nearly 90 percent fall from historical average monthly potash production at the unit.
