IFFCO to Cut Potash Imports By 35%

Indian Cooperative reported that Uralkali’s (LSE:URKA) refusal to grant lower potash prices to India means the country will slash potash imports.

Indian Cooperative reported that Uralkali’s (LSE:URKA) refusal to grant lower potash prices to India means the country will slash potash imports.

As quoted in the market news:

The cooperative had demanded slash in potash prices for India by USD 36 per tonne. Uralkali, world’s second largest potash producer with an annual production capacity of 10.6 million tonnes, is a major potash exporter with a 20 per cent share of the global market.
