The Times of India reported that farmers in the Indian state of Madikeri are concerned about getting enough potash for their crops.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Joint director of the agriculture department, Devadas, said that fixing the rate has resulted in the government delaying the import of potash. He promised that the demand of about 1500 tons of potash, will be met gradually in a week.
