Bougainville Ventures Inc. (CSE:BOG, FRA:8BV) (“Bougainville” or the “Company”) announces that it has received inquiries from the British Columbia Securities Commission (“BCSC”) with respect to its transaction (“Transaction”) involving Gene Bank Research Inc. (see news release dated November 1, 2018).
Bougainville Ventures Inc. (CSE:BOG, FRA:8BV) (“Bougainville” or the “Company”) announces that it has received inquiries from the British Columbia Securities Commission (“BCSC”) with respect to its transaction (“Transaction”) involving Gene Bank Research Inc. (see news release dated November 1, 2018). The Company is cooperating fully with the BCSC, and does not expect that the inquiries will interfere with the Company’s day-to-day activities. The Company is also reviewing the substance of the Transaction and working with legal counsel to determine its next steps.
The Company notes that it had requested a voluntary trading halt pending dissemination of this news release.
