Khiron President: We’re Positioned to Dominate the Latin American Cannabis Market
Khiron Life Sciences (TSXV:KHRN, OTCQB:KHRNF) President Chris Naprawa recently joined the Dales Report to discuss his company’s progress in the Latin American cannabis market.
Khiron Life Sciences (TSXV:KHRN, OTCQB:KHRNF) President Chris Naprawa recently joined the Dales Report to discuss his company’s progress in the Latin American cannabis market. Naprawa believes the legalization of cannabis is a global movement and has positioned the company to take advantage of international developments.
According to Naprawa, the Latin American market is home to over 620 million people, providing Khiron with a massive opportunity as each jurisdiction legalizes cannabis across the continent. Rather than focus on cultivation and crop yields, Naprawa feels that branding and strong business relationships are critical to success in the cannabis business. “It’s not imperative to own the entire value chain. Brands and customer relationships, that’s where the real value is and that’s where we are focused,” said Naprawa.
Khiron is also working to establish positive relationships with doctors and physicians in order to educate the medical community regarding the potential benefits of cannabis. On the recreational side of the market, Khiron has recently launched the Kuida brand across the United States, with 48 stores initially carrying the company’s wellness products including body lotions, creams, mists and other topical products. The company intends to launch the product line in California in the next month as well. Naprawa is confident that Khiron’s expansion strategy and leadership team have been designed for success, partially due to the presence of major contributors like Director Vincente Fox, the former president of Mexico.
