Rockland Minerals Corp. (TSXV:RL) reported that its 2015 exploration and diamond drilling program on the Blue Lake/Retty Lake Cu-Ni-PGE Project in Québec has been completed.

Rockland Minerals Corp. (TSXV:RL) reported that its 2015 exploration and diamond drilling program on the Blue Lake/Retty Lake Cu-Ni-PGE Project in Québec has been completed. 7 drill holes were completed for a total of 708m of core on the Blue Lake, Blue Lake South and Retty Lake claim blocks.
As quoted in the press release:

Rockland completed a geochemical sampling program utilizing Niton portable XRF units and walk-mag/VLF surveys over known Cu-Ni-PGE mineralization at Blue Lake and Retty Lake and selected high priority VTEM geophysical targets which had not been tested to date. There are eight massive sulfide lenses on the Blue Lake property, and all except for one are “blind” and characteristically contain no obvious geochemical or geophysical expression as to their presence. The existence of thousands of barren geophysical conductors with rare proximal commercial grade Cu-Ni-PGE sulphide bodies necessitated a new approach to evaluating this property. Orientation surveys were conducted in areas underlain by these buried Blue Lake massive sulfide lenses in order to confirm that this methodology is capable of identifying such blind Cu-Ni-PGE mineralization and should be followed up on in the future. The Company is very pleased with the findings of the geochemical and geophysical orientation surveys and looks forward to implementing them in future exploration programs.
Seven drill holes were completed for a total of 708 m of core in widely spaced locations on the Blue Lake, Blue Lake South and Retty Lake claim blocks. Five of the seven drill holes intersected heavily disseminated and massive concentrations of magmatic sulphides over significant lengths. Assay results are pending.
