Resource stocks in general experienced losses. The TSX took a dive and analysts anticipate its six-session streak of gains will hit the skids. The S&P/TSX Composite Index dropped 6.95 per cent to 8,626.36 points. Resource stocks were also on the decline in New York with mining stocks plunging 10 per cent.
