Hazelwood Resources Ltd. (ASX:HAZ) announced that it is on track to produce 1,500 tonnes of ferrotungsten from its Vietnam-based ATC project during the 2014 calendar year.
As quoted in the press release:
The third campaign which concluded in January 2014, shipped 331 tonnes of product. The current fourth campaign which is approaching completion, is operating at a similar level of output, utilising increased tonnages of feedstock. Record ferrotungsten grades have been achieved with recent shipments averaging 78.5% tungsten content.
On an annualised basis, the project is considered to be on track to meet its CY2014 target which is equivalent to 1500 tonnes of ferrotungsten at a nominal 75% tungsten content. The maximum production capacity of the furnace is in excess of 4,000 tonnes per annum.
