In the short-term, precious metals prices are being suppressed by positive news out of North American and European equities markets, which have experienced the biggest monthly rally since 2003. There seems to be a growing sentiment in the markets that banks are beginning to lend again and that’s helping to increase belief in a not-too-distant recovery.
