With the four manganese resources at Avontuur now bringing the total mineral resource estimate to 147.8-million tons, Avontuur was considered to be one of the largest manganese provinces in the world.
Aquila said in a statement on Friday that there was still significant potential to discover additional high-grade manganese resources within the Avontuur prospecting right.
