Northern Iron Posts Higher Revenues

Mining Weekly reported that iron ore miner, Northern Iron, has reported sales of 482,000 tons for the quarter ended March 2013 and achieved a new production record of 4.96 million tons.

As quoted in the news report:

Meanwhile, concentrate sales reached 482 000 t for the quarter, up 2% on the previous quarter, while the average price achieved was up 28%, resulting in an unaudited earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $10-million, up $8-million from the previous quarter.
