Noram Ventures (TSXV:NRM) has appointed Barry Hemsworth to its board of directors. The company has also granted Mr. Hemsworth 200,000 incentive stock options in conjunction with the appointment.
As quoted in the press release:
A lawyer by profession, Mr. Hemsworth was the founding partner in a Vancouver based law firm specializing in corporate securities and finance law. Over a 40 plus year career, he has acted for numerous public and private corporations in sectors that include mining, oil and gas and technology. Mr. Hemsworth often participates directly as an individual in the creation and development of companies, raising both public and private financing, becoming an officer and/or director, and providing business advisory services.
In conjunction with the appointment, the Company has granted to Mr. Hemsworth 200,000 incentive stock options that may be exercised at the price of $0.05 until July 13, 2020. Any shares issued on the exercise of these stock options will be subject to a four-month hold period from date of grant. The grant is subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance.
