LME Zinc to Trade Between US$1,885 and $1,905 per MT Today

Shanghai Metals Market reported that after closing yesterday at US$1,893 per metric ton (MT), zinc on the London Metal Exchange (LME) is expected to trade between US$1,885 and $1,905 per MT today.

US Federal Reserve Chairman Janet Yellen defend quantitative easing policies Tuesday, and will maintain QE3 in place in the interim, pushing up non-US dollar currencies, with the euro against the US dollar rebounding to 1.3577. LME zinc prices thus edged up, gaining back losses in the previous day and closing at USD 1,893/mt, up USD 7/mt.
