The Company has leveraged its local knowledge to acquire 100% of the Kuriskova (formerly called Jahodna) uranium project, complementing its other uranium licences in Slovakia along with the wholly-owned Kremnica gold project.
Tournigan holds 100% of six uranium licences covering much of the 60-kilometre strike length of the Slovak Carpathian uranium belt. The licences are located approximately 350 kilometres northeast of the capital city of Bratislava and have excellent infrastructure nearby. Tournigan’s other asset in Slovakia is the Kremnica gold deposit, which has produced 1.5 million ounces of gold.
