Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX:SVM,NYSE:SVM) announced that first quarter silver sales and production both reached record levels.

The press release is quoted as saying:

From the four mines at the Ying Mining Camp, a record 1.6 million ounces of silver were produced and sold in this quarter, well on track for the fiscal year 2012 Production Guidance of 5.6 million ounces.
