AAP reports on the uranium price drop since the nuclear incident in Japan.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The uranium spot price is back down to $US48.85 per pound, having plummeted from $US67.75/lb to $US49/lb immediately after the earthquake and tsunami on March 11.

The spot price had recovered to about $US56.50/lb after the Fukushima accident.
