Shell to Ramp up Alberta Oil Production

Reuters reports that on Thursday, Royal Dutch Shell Plc (NYSE:RDS.A)plans to begin ramping up oil production from two northern Alberta projects.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Shell cut production at its Seal and Cliffdale heavy oil fields last week as fires swept through the region, forcing the outage of the southern leg of Plains All American Pipeline’s (PAA.N) Rainbow Pipeline, which carries the crude.
