The market news is quoted as saying,
Tungsten production in Peru fell by a huge 39.01% in May 2011 to 41 metric tons, attributed the Peruvian tungsten miner Minera Malaga Santolalla SAC. For the first five months of this year, Peruvian tungsten production dropped 13.83% from 305 metric tons in 2010 to 263 metric tons in 2011.
