Aguia Signs Option Agreement, Begins Drilling at Andrade

Aguia Resources has signed an option agreement to acquire the Primavera project in Brazil, which includes the Andrade copper occurrence.

Aguia Resources (ASX:AGR,TSXV:AGRL) has signed an option agreement to acquire the Primavera project near Caçapava do Sul, Brazil, which includes the Andrade copper occurrence.

The company also took on 382 metres of drilling at Andrade as part of its technical review, which returned “thick and high-grade zones” of mineralization. One hole intersected a zone with 28.77 metres grading 1.83 percent copper and 3.84 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and includes a higher-grade zone of 19.39 metres grading 2.55 percent copper and 4.54 g/t gold, with individual samples of up to 7.53 percent copper in the same intercept.

The acquisition of the project increases the company’s holdings in the Rio Grande Copper Belt by over 9,000 hectares, creating a cumulative total presence of over 43,000 hectares.
