At Hewlett-Packard’s (NYSE:HPQ) Big Data conference in Boston, EVP and general manager Robert Youngjohns outlined the company’s relationship with data.

At Hewlett-Packard’s (NYSE:HPQ) Big Data conference in Boston, EVP and general manager Robert Youngjohns outlined the company’s relationship with data.
According to the Financial Post:
Youngjohns told attendees during his keynote, is the quantity of data involved. Over the past three to five years, we’ve reached an inflection point; the explosion of data has outstripped our ability to analyse it. What we refer to as “big data” is, to him, a solution in its own right — actually a set of analytic tools that help make sense of the deluge of information.
