Ambient Water (OTCQB:AWGI), a provider of atmospheric water generation systems that work to remove water from air humidity has commented on the challenge that business and government organizations face when addressing water shortages.
According to a press release:

Recent reports of the planet’s rising population and changes to climate have led many experts to discuss the importance of how water as a commodity is evaluated. A recent article from CNBC quotes Director of Deloitte Consulting’s water practice as stating, “Historically, companies have paid attention to the price of water and not necessarily the value of water to their business… you look at the price of water, it’s not quite free, but it’s low priced compared to its value.” The article goes on to reference the importance of developing technology and strategies for combating the financial losses that businesses and state and federal governments may suffer due to shortages caused by droughts, dwindling resources, and more. Examples of proactive water strategies include those implemented by Israel, such as their advanced desalination industry, and Singapore, who built an effective water treatment and recycling program.
Ambient Water has sought to address these same challenges by working with both state governments and private companies to showcase their atmospheric water generation systems. Currently, the organization is working with companies in the oil and gas and indoor farming sectors among others, to present compelling data that indicates its technology can produce potable water on-site for various applications. The Company also recently demonstrated the strength of its technology at the State Capitol in Sacramento, CA during an event attended by many state lawmakers and media outlets.
