Investor interest in precious metals as a safe haven is increasing as the dollar falls and the oil price continues to drop. Additionally, geopolitical tension is impacting the market, as the Russian ruble is falling and the Russian central bank is taking action to attempt to correct that motion. All of those conditions boost the appeal of precious metals.
