First Quantum Reports Labor Dispute at Kansanshi Mine in Zambia

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM) reported that production at Kansanshi copper/gold mine in Zambia is suspended due to a labor dispute on January 3, 2012.

First Quantum’s Chairman and CEO, Philip Pascall said:
