Polish Hard Coal Production Down 4.5% in Q1

Platts reported that coal production from Polish state-owned mines was down in first quarter 2011.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Steam coal production in the quarter was 14.5 million mt, down 5.3%, while coking coal production was 2.98 million mt, down 0.4%.
