Market participants cool about LME’s Asia reference price launch

Platts.com reports that trade interest appears to be waning  even with Asia’s new price launch for aluminum, copper and zinc.

The story is quoted as saying:

The LME “Asian Benchmark” prices for aluminum, copper and zinc launched on Monday will be derived from the results of trading on its electronic trading platform between 3:00 pm and 3.15 pm (0700-0715 GMT) in Singapore, and published at 3.30 pm
