Orbite Aluminae Inc. (TSX:ORT) announced increased rare earth recovery rates from rare earth samples from its Grande-Vallée project.
As quoted in the press release:
The Orbite process is expected to generate the following overall minimum oxide yields: Gallium at 93.86%, Scandium at 93.11%, and Yttrium at 87.47%. This represents a 23% increase in recovery rate over the figures published in the Revised Preliminary Economic Assessment Technical Report dated May 31, 2012.
