High Priority Targets Identified by Big North Graphite On Griffith and Brougham Properties
Big North Graphite (TSXV:NRT) identified high priority graphite targets for follow-up on both the Griffith and Brougham properties in southeastern Ontario using high resolution electromagnetic airborne surveying utilizing the Impulse system of Aeroquest Limited. Plans for late summer and fall 2012 follow-up exploration programs will be announced as plans are finalized.
As quoted in the press release:
The EM survey has identified numerous short to medium length (maximum ~1km, with most being 200-400m) bedrock conductive features at Griffith that are consistent with the Black-Donald exploration model of high-grade pods and vein features in zones of structural geological complexity. The known graphite occurrence on Griffith (veins and disseminations in marble) has demonstrated a bedrock conductive response of interest. On the Brougham Property, one area in particular has been identified with multiple short-length bedrock conductors in an area of structural complexity that is a high priority follow-up target.
