Trevali Mining Completes Civil Construction at Santander; Dry Commissioning Commenced
Trevali Mining Corporation (TSX:TV,OTCQX:TREVF,FWB:4TI) announced a construction update on its Santander Zinc-Lead-Silver Mine in Peru. Despite unusually challenging weather in the Andes, all major civil construction has now been completed, plant civil contractors demobilized and the major plant circuits have been installed and are undergoing phased, dry commissioning as components are completed. With commissioning underway and based on the most recent site schedule, it is anticipated that wet commissioning will commence over the upcoming weeks.
Trevali Mining Corporation (TSX:TV,OTCQX:TREVF,FWB:4TI) announced a construction update on its Santander Zinc-Lead-Silver Mine in Peru. With commissioning underway and based on the most recent site schedule, it is anticipated that wet commissioning will commence over the upcoming weeks.
As quoted in the press release:
The Company continues to stock-pile mine stope mineralized material in the coarse mill feed storage area. All key structural components have been completed in the Primary through to Tertiary crushing circuits and the electrical motors are undergoing commissioning. The mill building is completely finished. All four mills are installed the feed/discharges are in place and all electrical connections complete (Figure 2). Unfortunately key electrical safety cells for the mill substation were delayed in customs and the Company has been advised by its customs broker that they will be released within a week.
