Fortescue Reports Addition of Resources to Chichester Range

Mining Weekly said that Fortescue Metals Group Ltd. (ASX:FMG) has reported a more than 300-million-tonne increase to the mineral resource base along its Chichester Range, with about 70 million tonnes added at the Cloudbreak operation and 46 million at Christmas Creek.

The miner told shareholders that the increased tonnage included additional resources immediately north of the Cloudbreak and Christmas Creek operations, which had been delineated by recent drilling up-dip of existing mining operations.
