Glencore Fires Contractor for NSW Mine Expansion, Casts Doubt on Project

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that a planned $110 million expansion at a Glencore Xstrata mine in NSW is being called into question after they fired the contractor hired for the job.

As quoted in the Sydney Morning Herald report:

Barely two weeks after Australia’s top commodities agency said investment in the resources industry had peaked and was set to decline, Glencore fired the contractor it hired to expand a mine near Cobar.
