Venezuela’s PDVSA, CVG to Develop Las Cristinas Gold Mine

Bloomberg reported that Venezuela’s state miner and state oil company are teaming up to develop gold mining in the country.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Venezuela took control of the Las Cristinas mine, which may hold 27 million ounces of gold reserves, in February after canceling a license held by Crystallex International Corp. (KRY), a Canadian gold producer.
