Mining Weekly reported that Norton Gold Fields (ASX:NGF) is enjoying higher share prices as it considers a takeover bid by Zijin Mining Group (HSE:2899).
As quoted in the market news:
Norton said on Tuesday that its directors recognised that the indicative offer represented an attractive premium to the company’s share prices, and were minded to recommend the acceptance of the offer, subject to reaching an agreement on terms.
