Extraordinary Future Conference 2017: Notes from the Floor
The first ever Extraordinary Future Conference hosted by Cambridge House in Vancouver was a smash hit, and the Investing News Network was there.
The first ever Extraordinary Future conference took place on Wednesday (September 20) in Vancouver and– if anything is certain–the tech industry is without a doubt alive and well in the west coast city.
Hosted by Cambridge House–who are more well-known for their resource-based conferences–the Extraordinary Future 2017 conference focused on the technologies that “directly impact the course of our lives.” As such, the conference featured a number of exhibitors and speakers in industries such as: artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, energy, blockchain, and technology and finance, to name a few.
If you missed the conference, don’t worry: the Investing News Network (INN) was there all day to cover the show. Here’s an overview of what happened.
The day started with Jay Martin, CEO of Cambridge House, addressing the audience and introducing the first talk of the day, Energy in the 21st Century, with Gianni Kovacevic, an author and executive chairman of CopperBank (CNSX:CBK) and Mitchell Smith, president and CEO of Global Energy Metals (TSXV:GEMC).
