We’ve put together a visual round-up of some of the key events that took place on day two of this year’s PDAC convention in Toronto.

Day two of this year’s Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) convention had the Investing News Network (INN) keeping busy and engaging with companies, attending events and of course interviewing industry experts.

The four-day event is the largest Canadian mining conference of the year, and is a key meeting place for mining companies, as well as potential and current investors.

The INN editorial team has been busy covering events and conducting interviews with analysts and company executives. If you were unable to make it to the convention or just want a recap of what happened, continue on for an overview of the day.

Monday (March 4) started off bright and early for the INN team, with a breakfast seminar that discussed small modular nuclear reactors.

The INN team began the morning slate of interviews with Jim Gallagher, CEO of North American Palladium (TSX:PDL,OTC Pink:PALDF).

Gallagher talked to INN’s precious metals reporter about palladium‘s current rally and what the massive price increase means for his company.

Next up, our battery metals reporter spoke with analyst Chris Berry, asking for his thoughts on both lithium and cobalt market developments.

This was followed by a conversation with Playfair Mining (TSXV:PLY). The company shared thoughts on Brexit and its effects on the market.

On the presentation side, INN viewed a panel focused on Millennials and mining, where Romy Done talked about her mission to engage women in the mining space.
