SEC Adopts Conflict Free Minerals Rule

Reuters reported  the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said mining companies will need to disclose information about health and safety violations.

As quoted in the market news:

The conflict minerals proposal, arguably the most controversial of the three, would require companies to disclose whether they use tantalum, tin, gold or tungsten from the war-torn Democratic Republic of the Congo.
