    Galaxy Resources Positive About Lithium Salt Price Increase

    Mining Weekly reported that Iggy Tan, Managing Director of Galaxy Resources Ltd. (ASX:GXY), sees Rockwood Holdings Inc.’s announcement that it will raise lithium salt prices by $1,000/t as positive.

    Mining Weekly reported that Iggy Tan, Managing Director of Galaxy Resources Ltd. (ASX:GXY), sees Rockwood Holdings Inc.’s announcement that it will raise lithium salt prices by $1,000/t as positive.

    As quoted in the market news:

    This was the second time that Rockwood has hiked its lithium salt prices in as many years, after announcing a 20% increase in June last year.

    Galaxy MD Iggy Tan said on Wednesday that it was an ‘encouraging sign’ for the potential prices the company could receive for output from its Jiangsu lithium carbonate plant, in China.
